Goulburn Valley Developmental Clinic

We are a multidisciplinary team who aim to provide comprehensive assessment, treatment and support services for children, adolescents and adults who may be living with a neurodevelopmental disorders such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, Communication/Language Disorder, Intellectual Disability, Attention Deficit & Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and/or Specific Learning Disorders. We aim to support the individual as well as their families and carers.

Our clinicians will visit, work with and support local schools, including attendance of Student Support Groups.

Marie Van den Bosch - Social Worker

Marie has experience working with children and adults experiencing stress, depression, trauma and anxiety issues, as well as difficulties with sleep and interpersonal and bereavement issues. Marie utilises a diverse range of therapies including CBT, Sand Play and Play therapy, Interpersonal therapy, therapy to support behaviour change and mindfulness-based therapies in combination to suit the needs of individual clients. Marie is passionate about providing Play and SandPlay therapies in particular to children and young people to overcome challenges in their lives and facilitating them to reach their full potential.

Karen Speedy - Speech Pathologist

Karen has over 30 years of experience in the assessment and treatment of a wide range of speech and language disorders with a particular interest in Autism, early communication and supporting communication through Key Word Sign.

Susan Galambos Colmer - Counselling Psychologist

Susan has worked as Principal Psychologist in her Independent Private Practice in Shepparton since 1997. Susan provides a range of psychology services - including Autism Spectrum assessment and treatment services - for children, adolescents, adults, families and local schools.

Jenni Goodwin - Administration Officer

Jenni is our highly experienced administrator who provides support with information, appointments, correspondence and accounts.

Susan is fully registered by the Psychology Board of Australia and is a full Member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and of the APS College of Counselling Psychologists.

In 2012 Susan completed a Graduate Diploma of Education (Middle Years) locally, at La Trobe University's Shepparton Campus.

Wednesdays & Thursdays: 9.00 am - 3.00 pm

Due to Susan's work commitments in various locations, she is unable to provide crisis management services.
