23 March, 2012 — Residents in the city and neighbouring areas of Shepparton are invited to learn more about the National Broadband Network (NBN) and the benefits it can deliver to their homes and businesses by visiting NBN Co’s Discovery Truck as it tours the area. From Tuesday 3 April to Wednesday 4 April opening at 10am the truck will be located in the Welsford Street car park opposite the Greater Shepparton City Council offices.

The proposed plan was released on November 28 and the first public session was held in Shepparton the following day.
