Employers are demanding work-ready graduates and universities want to offer students these experiences. The Victorian Chamber is facilitating internship opportunities to support employers and students.

The Victorian Chamber is partnering with Victorian Universities to deliver an Internship Program. The program helps create employable graduates by encouraging and supporting our members to employ a student intern.

The Victorian Chamber provides participating members with financial assistance to support the cost of taking on an intern,  and will be placing 100 students on an annual basis over three years.

When a business employs an intern, it give a student a meaningful employment experience and the opportunity to develop new skills. The business will also benefit from someone who offers new perspectives and insights, is enthusiastic and ready to learn. It can also be a powerful marketing and recruitment tool.

At the end of the internship, the business will receive up to $3,000 to support the cost of employing your intern.
