Support Small Business Day is a Victorian Government initiative to increase the competitiveness of small businesses and recognise their valuable contribution to our community. It's an opportunity for Victorians to reconnect with the small businesses that make our community great and support those who own and operate them.

On Saturday 19 October, retailers, cafés, restaurants and service providers across Victoria will celebrate with one-day events and special promotions. Greater Shepparton City Council and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry will be supporting the program by running a promotion within the CBD.

Attendees will also be provided with mall entertainment which includes activities for children and a free barbeque. Jack Brazel Business Development Officer is heavily advocating for small business to get involved in the program as it offers a great marketing opportunity provided by the state of Victoria.

Principal Partner, the National Australia Bank (NAB) is offering $100,000 worth of shopper incentives, including more than 4,000 eftpos cards redeemable at participating businesses on the day.
