RACV has created an online survey to record concerns or praise regarding the Victorian rail services. The survey is short, simple and can be completed in a couple of minutes.

Exactly how efficient is Victoria's rail system?

Public transport is often a means for discussion amongst the general public, but in this case, Shepparton is concerned about a lack of communication. The Shepparton News posted an article discussing the issue of both V/Line and Metro services in Victoria and the new way that individuals can make their voices heard.

The article, posted on May 27th, explains that due to the issues surrounding rail services and the need for government attention, the RACV has created an online survey to record concerns or praise regarding the Victorian rail services.

The survey is short, simple and can be completed in a couple of minutes. It is relevant and allows you to select your local train station so that the results can be specific to each area, right down to the availability of parking at each station. Many people have issues with the effectiveness of the rail services and they now have an opportunity to voice their concerns in a way that will get through to the government and influence the future of V/line and Metro services.

Concerns mentioned range from trains not running frequently enough to carriages being unclean or hazardous, with an option to note issues that may not be listed.

The survey, which can be found at racv.com.au/ontracksurvey closes at midnight on June 30th, so there is still time to voice your opinion. It is of upmost importance that the community responds to this survey and that individuals are vocal about their concerns or approval so that appropriate changes and corrections can be made to make our rail system more efficient.
