PGA Professionals Set to Tee Off in Shepparton Region this December

PGA Professionals from across Australia will converge on the Goulburn Valley this December to do battle in the Greater Shepparton Masters.

Part of the Ladbrokes PGA Pro-Am series the Greater Shepparton Masters, now in its fourth year sees Professionals compete across two of the region’s best courses. This year Mooroopna Golf Club will host the first round on Thursday the 14th of December with Numurkah Golf & Bowls Club hosting the final round the following day. PGA Professionals such as Ashley Hall who was runner up to Jordan Spieth in a playoff for the 2016 Australian Open will headline the field as they compete for a share of $25,000.

Greater Shepparton City Council Mayor Dinny Adem said ”Council was thrilled to be hosting this event for a fourth successive year. This event further strengthens our reputation as a leading sporting event destination and complements some of the new major events secured to Greater Shepparton recently including the 2017-18 International Beach Volleyball, 2017 A-League Pre-season Friendly between Melbourne City and Western Sydney Wanderers, 2017 Asian Football Confederation U19 Qualifiers and the 2017 Shepparton International Challenge Triathlon" said Cr Adem.
