The roll out of the National Broadband Network (NBN) commences this February throughout the Greater Shepparton region and November’s GV BRaIN event will focus on getting local business and industry thinking about how to prepare to take advantage of it.

GV BRaIN's November keynote speaker will feature Brad Howarth. With experience reporting on the evolution of the global technology industry across two decades, Brad delivers a unique perspective regarding the impact of technology on business and society. He is passionate about the revolutionary role that high-speed internet services will play over the next 10 years.

Now a freelance journalist, he has since travelled extensively, reporting on a range of topics across the globe. He has penned articles for many major Australian and international publications and interviewed many of the world's leading thinkers on technology, digital media, innovation and entrepreneurship.

The path of technology change is accelerating. The internet and related technologies in particular have had a massive impact on our professional and personal lives, and Brad is a strong believer that we are only at the beginning of this revolutionary wave of technological change. His presentations serve to highlight the changes that are possible while providing practical advice on how to both negotiate the challenges that lie ahead while profiting from new opportunities.

The future of broadband is at the forefront of public debate in Australia and around the world. But missing from that debate has been in-depth discussion of the applications and services that high-speed and efficient  broadband access can deliver, and the impact these will have on business, society and all of us as individuals.

Brad Howarth promises to be an informative and entertaining speaker and comes highly recommended. If you have been asking yourself "Is my business ready to take advantage of the NBN?" then make sure you book your seat at GV BRaIN's November event.
