In our ongoing commitment to ensure the best presentation of the Maude Street Mall, and in support of our daily sweeping and general cleaning regime, we have just completed our Mall Pavement Cleaning program.
The works were completed in a manner that caused little or no disruption to the retail precinct and traders.
It was carried out on week nights, and outside of normal business hours i.e. between 6:30pm - 7:00am.
The cleaning of the entire Mall pavement occurred over a three week period, commencing on Monday 29th October through to Monday 19th November 2012.
The actual cleaning process involved the application of a high pressure water and steam clean to remove built up grime and gum.
We hand delivered a notice to the Mall Traders prior to our commencement of these works to advise them of what activities we intended to undertake. Shepparton Show Me and the Chamber of Commerce were also advised.
The program is most timely as we enter the run into the busiest retail period on the calendar.
