Greater Shepparton City Council’s Skilled Migration Officer Janine Cole has again successfully managed to secure the right person for the right job in a local expanding financial planning business.

RBA Financial Group was looking for a new Marketing and Sales Manager and Andrew Molyneaux fitted all of the criteria; however he is an Irish citizen and the complication and "red tape" involved with his migration to Australia seemed very involved and daunting for the business.

Ms Cole worked with RBA to make the Employer Sponsorship process easier and faster by providing advice and assistance to the business on what departments to contact, which visas to apply for and what forms to fill out.

Her extensive experience meant Andrew's documentation was completed in February and he started working with RBA in April.

Ms Cole encouraged businesses to investigate the employer sponsorship program if they were having problems finding appropriately skilled workers."Many businesses think the sponsorship takes up valuable time, however, it is really worth investigating as we know there are many good people, worth their weight in gold, who are keen to work here in the Goulburn Valley," she said.

"I encourage any businesses struggling to find the right people to consider the skilled migration program - RBA's story is a great example of this."
