Is your business looking to get into the defence supply chain?

The Victorian Defence Alliances (VDA) have been established through a partnership between the State Government of Victoria and the local defence industry association (ADA (Vic)). The Alliances provide targeted support for companies either in, or looking to get in to, the defence supply chain. There are five Alliances: Land Systems, Aerospace, Digital, Maritime and Submarines. Across these five Alliances there are over 450 member companies. There is significant representation of regional companies within the Alliances and whilst the majority of our industry briefings are held in Melbourne they do try and run at least two briefings a year in regional Victoria.

VDA are running the next industry briefing in Benalla on Thursday 30 May, 1.30pm - 4.00pm at the Sir Edward ‘Weary’ Dunlop Learning Centre.

For more information see attached flyer.

This briefing will be beneficial to companies who are new to defence or who may not yet have considered the defence sector as an opportunity as well as companies who are Tier 2 or Tier 3 suppliers to defence projects. VDA will provide an overview of the current status of the defence policies and how these relate to the SMEs in particular, they also have a representative from the Centre for Defence Industry Capability attending to talk about specific Government assistance and a presenter from NIOA who will talk about their company’s journey in defence.
