Richard Cornish, the son of a dairy farmer, is one of the most respected food writers in the nation. His understanding of where food comes from and how it is grown has led him around the world writing six books on world food. He was the acclaimed commentator on Iron Chef Australia and is a regular columnist with Fairfax Good Food in The Age and Sydney Morning Herald called Brain Food. His vision for sustainable food events has been instrumental in creating food communities and great experiences to guests. He is part of the Melbourne Food and Wine Festival where he has been a creative director and consultant for over a decade. His love and support for regional Australia continues with his involvement as a consultant and mentor to Plate Up Ballarat.
Greater Shepparton City Council will also present it's industry update including an update on Major Events and Major Projects & a CBD Revitalisation Update.
