Austrade will host two 'e-Commerce in China' seminars in the region during September.

Following the release of the Austrade publication e-Commerce in China: A guide for Australian Business, exporters are invited to attend a seminar to learn from Australian and Chinese experts, online traders and buyer representatives from leading e-Commerce marketplaces on how to develop an effective strategy to sell online in China.

The seminar will assist exporters to:

  • Understand the costs, benefits and pathways for exporters to sell online to China’s 300+ million consumers.
  • Learn how to sell at reduced tax rates and exempt from China’s domestic product standards though ‘cross-border’ e-Commerce.
  • Hear advice and case studies from leading practitioners in the field.
  • Discover how Austrade services and national promotions in China can help drive new business and e-Commerce traffic.

The first three hour seminar will be held in Wodonga on Wednesday 9 September commencing 9.30am, the second will be a morning session on Thursday 10 September in Bendigo.  If you are interested please email patricia.chick@ecodev.vic.gov.au for further details.
