This Victorian Government “Asia Gateway Voucher” program might interest you or businesses in your area?
The second round of applications open on 4 June 2018.
As an APPLICANT you must be registered in Victoria, have an ABN, employ at least 20 staff (preference for under 200) OR have annual turnover of $1.5million. The program provides funding on a dollar-for-dollar basis with a voucher up to $50,000 – so to get the full $50,000 voucher you must also commit to spend $50,000.
As a VOUCHER PROVIDER, we need to be approved by the government – and we have that approval for the India Market.
We are approved under the voucher program to provide the following services:
Marketing and Branding Strategy (International)
Purpose - Development of brand value proposition and market positioning that increases consumer relevance and differentiates business from competition.
Examples of Supported Activity –
- Brand audit and research.
- Brand strategy, including the brand value proposition and market positioning.
- Visual identity system to align all customer touch-points.
- Develop a marketing strategy and implementation roadmap.
- In-country marketing and promotional campaign development.
Market Development Plan (International)
Purpose - Optimise entry to a new market or grow business activities in an existing market.
Examples of Supported Activity –
- Market research to understand industry trends, gain customer insights and identify gaps in current strategy.
- Set strategic priorities to leverage market insights.
- Market expansion activities.
- Strategic partnerships and industry alignment opportunities.
- Identify pathways into global supply chains.
In-Market Support (International)
Purpose - Navigate the business environment of a specific market, including access to traditional distribution channels and/or e-commerce distribution platforms.
Examples of Supported Activity –
- Consultancy and professional service costs for business introductions, company profiling and screening as well as business intelligence, pricing, branding and procedural advice.
Please also note that the Asia Gateway Voucher stream is seeking Voucher projects that align with the program objectives:
Capitalising on growth opportunities in Asia – Voucher projects will increase immediate to short-term business activities with Asian markets.
Connecting and expanding into Asia – Voucher projects will provide businesses with the knowhow, networks and skills for effective access to and expansion into Asian markets.
Increased Asia capabilities – Voucher projects will better position businesses and organisations for long term engagement with Asian markets.
