- Dutton to head up super security ministry (news.com.au 18.17.17)
- Cyber threats could cost lives unless NHS improves security (The telegraph UK 12.7.17)
Independent Cyber Security Adviser, Mike Burgess sits on the Board of the Australian Cyber Security Growth Network and was involved on the Prime Minister’s Expert Panel for Australian 2016 Cyber Security Strategy.
The former Telstra Chief Information Security Officer, led Telstra’s Security Operations and his vision for cyber security included establishing unique "Discovery and Influencing" capabilities that provided insights and opportunities, helping protect Telstra’s customer data and keeping networks secure.
Mike also co-developed the "Five Knows of Cyber Security", an easy, accessible approach that can be used to effectively manage the cyber security risk from the Board down.
Join us as we discuss ways we can each tackle the threat in our own businesses and as a region.
