Small businesses are invited to participate in a public consultation to address unfair trading practices with interested parties to respond by Wednesday 29 November, 2023.
Feedback is being sought on how unfair trading practices are currently regulated across Australia and the impacts on small businesses and consumers.
The consultation is seeking further evidence on the type of unfair trading practices in Australia and the extent of small business and consumer harm arising from possible gaps in the Australian Consumer Law.
Interested parties have until 29 November, 2023 to respond with submissions to be lodged electronically or by post.
