The Strengthening Business Service is supporting flood-affected businesses in Shepparton.
The service provides access to experienced, independent business facilitators who help business to become stronger, more resilient and better prepared for the future. The facilitator will recommend ways to strengthen business systems, operations and strategies and help the business to get back on their feet, including identifying opportunities to improve the business. As part of the engagement the facilitator will complete a business overview including:
- The impacts and issues affecting the business –
Property, plant and equipment
Stock/Inventory
Finance
Employees
Supply chain
Marketing
- Identify systems and strategies to help business improve
- Help assess any gaps in business knowledge
- Identify connections to services and other support
The service is delivered at no cost to the business, there are no sector or turnover requirements, and the business did not have to be flooded to access this support.
Following the initial discussion, the facilitator will work with the business on next steps, whether that be further engagement, referral to other services or follow-up information.
