COSBOA's 2026 Small Business Perspectives Survey is closing on 30 April 2026. Regional Businesses are encouraged to participate.
The COSBOA 2026 Small Business Perspectives Survey is now open, and regional, rural and remote small business owners are encouraged to take part and share their experiences.
This year’s survey places a strong and dedicated focus on businesses outside metropolitan areas, ensuring the realities of operating in regional, rural and remote Australia are clearly represented in national policy conversations.
The insights gathered will play a critical role in shaping COSBOA’s advocacy on the issues that matter most to small businesses, including:
- Tax and regulatory reform
- Workforce challenges
- Housing availability
- Energy costs
- Digital connectivity
- Insurance affordability
By participating, you’re helping to ensure that real business experiences directly inform advocacy efforts and policy discussions at a national level.
The survey takes just a few minutes to complete and explores what it’s like to run a small business in 2026 — including the challenges you face, the opportunities ahead, and the support you need to build a profitable, productive and sustainable business into the future.
The results will contribute to the COSBOA Small Business Perspectives Report, a key resource used to influence government decision‑making and advocate for better outcomes for small businesses across Australia.
