GV DAMA enables employers who cannot fill vacancies from within the Australian labour force to supplement their workforce with access to overseas workers.
OCCUPATIONS
Of the 56 approved occupations, there are 15 occupations that would otherwise have no other sponsorship opportunity.
SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITY - SKILL LEVEL 4 & 5
Employers are able to sponsor employees for the following occupations, exclusive to GV DAMA, on a 482 VISA, 189 VISA or 494 VISA.

GV DAMA CONCESSIONS
Salary (TSMIT) Concession – for eligible occupations
- Concessions to TSMIT are available for employers for the occupations listed in the table of approved occupations. There must be a strong business case provided to support a TSMIT concession.
English Language – for eligible occupations
- TSS and SESR: overall score of IELTS 5.0 (or equivalent), with no minimum individual band scores.
- ENS: overall score of IELTS 5.0 (or equivalent), with a minimum IELTS score of 4.0 (or equivalent) for each individual band.
Age Concession for ENS & SESR – for eligible occupations
- Overseas worker may be nominated for a SESR or ENS visa if, at the time of the Approved Sponsor’s Nomination, they have not turned: 55 years of age for skill level 1 - 4 occupations.
