The 2013 Regional Victoria Living Expo is a key initiative in the Victorian Government's strategy to drive population and investment to regional and rural Victoria. The expo commenced on Friday 19 April 2013 and ran through to Sunday 21 April 2013.
Greater Shepparton City Council (GSCC) was one of the 48 regional and rural councils who attended the event and took advantage of the opportunity to promote the benefits and opportunities available within the Greater Shepparton Region. GSCC aimed to attract new residents, skilled workers, new business and investment to Greater Shepparton and were supported by Fox Personnel and La Trobe University (Shepparton Campus) who attended the event and actively promoted the region and their services.
GSCC, Fox Personnel and La Trobe University supplied attendees with all the information they needed while they consider relocating to regional and rural Victoria. While in attendance, we encountered a variety of individuals including, people who had recently applied for employment within Greater Shepparton and were seeking further information, families who were keen for their children to grow and become educated away from the city, and also persons who were looking at retiring and considered Greater Shepparton as a region which offered peace and tranquillity instead of ‘hustle and bustle'.
A big thank you goes out to Fox Personnel and La Trobe University for attending the expo and also another big thank you to the businesses that supplied promotional information/items.
