The Greater Shepparton City Council's Planning Department have advised that planning permit numbers experienced a similar start to the new year as experienced in 2012.
Planning figures are off to a steady start in January. It is difficult to define the main reasons, however it is likely that the holiday period was a main contributor to this trend .
General enquiry levels are showing consistent activity indicating that people are still considering undertaking projects.
In January 2013 thirty-five (35) planning permits were issued.
The number of planning permit applications received was twenty-nine (29).
