The first weekend in March’s plethora of events brought significant benefit to the region’s businesses with many reporting increased trade over the two days.

Geelong put on a show in the 87-point win over Essendon in Shepparton on Saturday the 5th March.

Melbourne Vixens hit the netball courts in two pre-season challenge games against Adelaide Thunderbirds at Visy Stadium on the 5th and 6th March

Tomato lovers took the drive to spend the day in Murchison to celebrate this gorgeous fruit at the Murchison Tomato Festa on Sunday the 6th March

The Shepparton Festival came alive with art, music and dance and will be showcasing unique events in unusual places until the 20th March.

Converge on the Goulburn was a huge celebration of Shepparton’s Aboriginal and multicultural communities will feature a full lineup of music and dance, authentic cultural and culinary delights and interactive kids activities on the beautiful Victoria Park Lake.

Converge on the Goulburn took place on the 19th March and was again a huge hit this year with over 3,500 people in attendance.
