GV Brain has had some high profile guest speakers in the past including Peter Fitz Simons in April, Kurt Fearnley in August and this month’s guest Ita Buttrose, all proving to be very popular with Ita selling out.
The GV Brain committee has secured the first speaker for next year, Justin Herald.
He has amazing life experiences and a wicked attitude to go with it.
Team Leader of Business and Industry Mr Geoff Hay, is excited about having such a unique individual as the next guest speaker. "Justin is a great example of how successful anyone can be with a small idea and entrepreneurial attitude. "We really hope that people who have had ideas brewing but are lacking the know how or the get up and go, can be inspired to move forward with their ideas".
In 1995 all Justin Herald had to start his business was $50 and an attitude. With clever marketing campaigns and a strong desire to make something of his life, Justin set out to turn his $50 into a multi-million dollar empire in just six years.
Attitude Gear® was the brand and motivational quotes were the key. Justin began printing t-shirts with slogans such as 'In the end it's all a matter of attitude' and now has a wide range of products selling in over 3,500 stores throughout Australia.
Justin's business success has allowed him to retire from Attitude Gear® and turn his passion to helping others achieve their business and personal goals. Justin has worked closely with major organisations such as the Australian Tax Office, Phillips and IP Australia. He is in high demand as a motivational speaker and is respected as one of Australia's leading authors on getting more out of life.
In addition to the success of Attitude Gear®, Justin has produced his own products. Justin first released his business/motivational book in April 2003. Within three weeks "Would you like Attitude with that?" hit the bestsellers list. Justin's much anticipated sequel, "So what are you waiting for?", was released in May 2004 with an overwhelming response.
In June 2004 Justin released his first DVD to accompany the motivational CDs that had already been well received in the corporate business and motivational arena.
Due to the amazing success and growth of his business, Justin is constantly in the media spotlight. His story has been shown on such TV shows as A Current Affair, Small Business Show, The Today Show, Today Tonight, Sunrise and the recently aired Who Wants To Be A Millionaire - Millionaire's Edition just to name a few.
If you would like to see Justin in action come along to the GV Brain Dinner on 19 February 2012. Tickets will go on sale in January and can be purchased from the River links Booking Centre phone (03) 5832 9511 or email boxoffice@riverlinksvenues.com.au
