Li Cunxin tells his story from his humble origins to the heights of achievements and that of his defection at a time of tension between world leaders.
Today Li Cunxin has retired from performing as a dancer and heads up the Queensland Ballet Company and still presents as a keynote speaker on the international stage.
Recently the ABC featured a special segment on Li and his story of perseverence to achieve on it's popular Australian Story series.
Li's biography was made into a movie, (Mao's last dancer), which was one of Australia's highest grossing films at the box office - Mao's Last dancer .
Li is appearing at Eastbank to tell his story and it is inspiring to all looking to achieve their ambitions. It appeals on both the individual and business level.
