From its initiation, the Great Things Happen Here (GTHH) project planned to include a focus on tourism/visitation along with lifestyle/employment and investment attraction.
Sparrowly Group have been appointed to undertake a research project to assist in informing the direction of any tourism campaign and industry growth for Greater Shepparton more broadly. Sparrowly have intimate knowledge of our region having developed the marketing strategy for Shepparton Show Me. They have worked on projects with Tourism Australia, Destination NSW, Bundaberg Tourism, Penrith, Hawkesbury and Cradle Coast.
Representatives from the Sparrowly Group will be in Greater Shepparton from Monday 14 to Thursday 17 October. Industry workshops are planned for:
- Monday 14 October 6.00pm (a light dinner will be served)
- Wednesday 16 October 12.00pm (a light lunch will be served)
- Thursday 17 October 7.30am (a light breakfast will be served)
Each session will be held in the Council Boardroom, 90 Welsford Street, Shepparton. It is anticipated that sessions will run for approximately an hour and a half.
