Creative Victoria's funding and support programs are designed to stimulate high quality, diverse creative activity across the state; strengthening Victoria's reputation as a centre for creative excellence.
Music Works Grants
The Music Works program supports Victorian-based contemporary music industry artists or industry professionals across all genres and career stages to undertake projects with creative and/or commercial outcomes.
Funding can be used for the creation of new works, collaboration and partnerships, professional development, marketing, tour support, and more.
Applications are open in three streams; First Peoples Creatives stream, Deaf and Disabled Creatives stream and the General stream.
This round of the program will support activity taking place from 1 July 2025.
Applications close 3pm, Thursday 13 February 2025.
Creative Projects Fund
Now open, the Creative Projects Fund supports creative and professional development projects led by Victorian professional artists, creative practitioners, groups/collectives and creative micro to small organisations at all career stages.
This program is open to projects and activities in all creative fields. Applications are open in three streams; First Peoples Creatives stream, Deaf and Disabled Creatives stream and the General stream.
This round will support projects and activities taking place from 1 July 2025.
Applications close 3pm, Thursday 13 February 2025.
10,000 Gigs: The Victorian Gig Fund
The Victorian Gig Fund will support Victorian music venues to create more paid opportunities for local artists and to give music lovers across the state the chance to see more great local live music.
If you run a licensed live music venue anywhere in Victoria or operate a venue that can host live performances in outer-metropolitan or regional Victoria, the 10,000 Gigs: The Victorian Gig Fund can provide grants of up to $11,000 to go towards Victorian artists’ fees for gigs.
