Greater Shepparton City Council is seeking your feedback on the Draft Greater Shepparton Commercial Activity Centres Strategy (Draft Strategy).
Council has resolved to make the Draft Strategy formally available for public review.
The study has been prepared by Essential Economics Pty Ltd to ensure that Shepparton Central Business District remains the primary focus for retail and commercial investment in the region. It also provides guidance on the level of growth that can be supported in the municipality’s sub-regional, neighbourhood, and local centres.
You are now invited to inspect the Draft Strategy and make a formal submission. You may inspect the document, free of charge, at the following locations:
- During office hours, at the office of the planning authority, Greater Shepparton City Council, 90 Welsford Street, Shepparton; and
- At the Greater Shepparton City Council website greatershepparton.com.au.
Submissions must be made in writing, giving the submitter’s name and contact address, clearly stating the grounds on which the Draft Strategy is supported or opposed and indicating what changes (if any) the submitter wishes to make.
A submission should be posted to Greater Shepparton City Council, Locked Bag 1000, Shepparton VIC 3632 and the closing date for submissions is 5pm, 24 September 2015.
