How resilient is your business? All retailers experience the rollercoaster of “life running your business” or “business running your life” as some may say.

Business Development Officer Lonnie O'Dwyer is encouraging all business owners to take advantage of the 2012 workshop and training schedule on offer at the Business Centre next year.
"Working with Small Business Victoria we selected workshops to visit our region that focus on the assisting business owners in the current business climate," Ms O'Dwyer said.
"On February 22 we have Better Business Practices, an interactive workshop that will show you how easy it is to improve and implement good business practices and processes to help your business run more effectively and be better able to deal with whatever comes your way.
"The workshop will cover topics such as risk management, staffing, customer service, finance, and sustainability and compliance issues.
"It is aimed at existing business owners but is also useful for those looking to start up a business."
The workshop will be held at the Business Centre 70 New Dookie Road starting at 6pm and finishing at 9.30pm, with light super provided.
Bookings are essential please phone Jo Rathjen on 03 58321100 or email jo.rathjen@shepparton.vic.gov.au
Other workshops to look forward to are the very popular Starting your Business to be held in March and the Budgeting and Forecasting in April.
