Qualified Bowen Therapists, Gayle and Henry Hoornweg from Waranga Natural Therapies have been operating from Waranga Shores for the last two and half years and have been wanting to expand their customer base to Shepparton, but weren't sure how to go about it. "We will still keep our business operating from Waranga Shores, but we are utilizing the Business Centre as a stepping stone to a permanent service here in Shepparton and we are here now every Thursday".
After undertaking the Digital Enterprise Program with Ailsa Page and doing some one-on-one mentoring on how to grow their business, Ailsa suggested that they utilise one of the rooms at the Business Centre for their therapies. Gayle said, "It's perfect because when you're starting out, you don't necessarily have the finances to set up a full operation. This way we can step into it, see if the customer base is here and build up our business from there. The Digital Enterprise Program has been just what we needed to help us start. There are a lot of our age group who are on computers and yes we can operate them, but we don't really know how to use them, not effectively business wise... so the Digital Enterprise Program has been a great help to us and Ailsa in particular."
