Austrade will host two 'e-Commerce in China' seminars in the region during September.
Following the release of the Austrade publication e-Commerce in China: A guide for Australian Business, exporters are invited to attend a seminar to learn from Australian and Chinese experts, online traders and buyer representatives from leading e-Commerce marketplaces on how to develop an effective strategy to sell online in China.
The seminar will assist exporters to:
- Understand the costs, benefits and pathways for exporters to sell online to China’s 300+ million consumers.
- Learn how to sell at reduced tax rates and exempt from China’s domestic product standards though ‘cross-border’ e-Commerce.
- Hear advice and case studies from leading practitioners in the field.
- Discover how Austrade services and national promotions in China can help drive new business and e-Commerce traffic.
The first three hour seminar will be held in Wodonga on Wednesday 9 September commencing 9.30am, the second will be a morning session on Thursday 10 September in Bendigo. If you are interested please email patricia.chick@ecodev.vic.gov.au for further details.
