Gulfood is the world's largest annual food & beverage trade show and will take place in Dubai, United Arab Emirate from Feb 26 - March 02, 2017
The State Government of Victoria is seeking expressions of interest from Victorian food and beverage organisations interested in participating in a Trade Mission to Gulfood.
The United Arab Emirates is Victoria's largest food and beverage market in the Middle East & North Africa, worth $1.2 billion in 2014-15. Meat, dairy product, grain and processed food comprise most of this value, but horticultural produce is a growing opportunity.
Gulfood is the world's largest annual food trade show, with over 90,000 trade visitors and approximately 5,000 exhibitors from over 160 countries. Held in Dubai over 5 days, it targets the Middle East and North African markets but also attracts visitors from around the globe. Victorian companies can apply to exhibit processed food product on the Victorian stand in the 'world food' section and dairy product in the dairy section of Gulfood.
Victorian participants on the Gulfood mission will be invited to participate in networking events with key decision makers from the food and beverage industry and are offered an opportunity to tour the major supermarket retail outlets in Dubai.
