The Greater Shepparton Business Centre has partnered with the Small Business Mentoring Service (SBMS). The SBMS visits the Business Centre for appointments the first Wednesday of each month, offering a FREE 45 minute consultation on the topic of your choice. Mentors will work with you on your specific needs. Topics could include, but are not limited to: finance, marketing, planning or a general ‘health check’ for your business.
The mentors provided are selected for their experience, people skills and passion for helping businesses succeed and advice is suitable for both established businesses and new start-ups.
There are many ways that SBMS experienced business mentors are able to assist you:
- Help you work on your business, rather than just in it
- Increase your marketing and business planning skills
- Help you to set objectives and direction
- Improve your motivation and confidence
- Help you to increase sales and profits
- Bring fresh thinking and identification of new opportunities
- Help you to link into other organisations
- Help to resolve time management issues
