Greater Shepparton City Council‘s Investment Attraction department recently attended the 2014 Regional Victoria Living Expo in Melbourne to attract residents, skilled workers, business and investment to our region.

This was an opportunity for Council to showcase Greater Shepparton as an ideal location to live and invest in by promoting the benefits and opportunities available in housing, health, education and lifestyle.

With the assistance of Brian and Judy Black from Fox Personnel, who provided attendees with their expert knowledge over the 3 days, we were able to provide metropolitan residents with information they needed to consider relocating to our region, including specific job and career opportunities.

Around 10,000 people visited the expo over the 3 days, entry was free and attendees were treated to a fantastic arts & culture program, special appearances by Coxy, Dipper, Ella Hooper, Garry Lyon and Nathan Vardy among other personalities.

Visitors to our stand enjoyed a sample of Goulburn Valley Two Fruits which was generously donated by SPC Ardmona. Quality Hotel Parklake and Lloyd's Produce also contributed to promoting our region by generously donating goods and/or services.
