The Greater Shepparton City Council has been helping drive the Christmas spirit with the recent installation of decorations.

Residents will be treated to a host of decorations in a number of Shepparton's premier locations which include the CBD, Victoria Park Lake and the Queen's Gardens.

In addition to the previous years decorations, a number of new decorations have been introduced most notably the giant baubles adorning the huge gum tree in Monash Park and the festive greetings stretching across the Eastbank façade.

This Christmas the Maude Street Mall will be home to Santa's Workshop. Santa will be available for a photo opportunity from 11 - 3pm Monday to Saturday in his workshop. Residents can make use of the Charity Gift wrapping service that is available  for a gold coin donation with all proceeds going to local charities.

Maude Street Mall will be a buzz of activity on Saturday and Sunday with a huge range of activities such as face painting, balloon giveaways, animal nursery and horse and carriage rides proudly supported by Shepparton Show Me.
