Every event in and around the Greater Shepparton helps to contribute to the economic prosperity of our region.

Basketball Victoria Country U14 championships: Estimated 2000 players, staff and families were in the region.

Players converged on the region from right across the state for the three day event, playing games at the Shepparton Sports Stadium, the Visy Cares Community Centre at Wanganui Park Secondary College and Mercy Stadium at Notre Dame College.

It is estimated the event tipped in more than one million dollars into the region. This was the second year in a row that Shepparton hosted this event.

Mini Mokes: Estimated 250 people

Easter, 2016, and 157 Mini Mokes and their Owners made their way to Shepparton in Victoria, AUSTRALIA for the 2016 Moke Muster. The Event celebrated 50 years since the first Moke was produced in Australia in March 1966. Moke Owners travelled up to 3,300 kms from every state to be a part of the event. Activities included a public 'Show & Shine' on Saturday and various Day Trip options on the Sunday, with a Presentation Dinner on Sunday night.
