Please note: this is an old article

It was published in April 2012, so the information may be out-of-date.

From 1 July 2012 we will see a raft of changes to skilled migration that will include; the introduction of SkillSelect, significant policy changes for the Employer Nominated Scheme, Regional Sponsored Migration Scheme, Business Skills and changes resulting from the Visa Simplification and Deregulation Project.

The Victorian Outreach team will play a critical role in communicating with stakeholders about the introduction of SkillSelect and the policy reforms to the ENS/RSMS and Business Skills Programs.

Given the quantum of these changes and the fact that employers in regional Australia are one of the key stakeholders, we would like invite you to an information sessions that the Department of Immigration and Citizenship (DIAC) are to conduct in your respective regions in May 2012.

Dates for the information session road show are as follows:

17 May - Shepparton Park Lake, 481 Wyndham Street Shepparton VIC 3630, 1.00pm - 2.30pm

If you would like to attend the Shepparton information session or would like more information please contact; Tina Pellegrino Goulburn Murray Regional Skilled Migration Coordinator on (03) 5832 9710
