Greater Shepparton Business Centre is holding a business planning workshop to assist businesses to prosper and grow.

“Failing to plan is planning to fail’ can be a real life situation when your business booms before it’s time or experiences slow periods. Planning for unpredictable highs and lows is paramount in today’s economy.

Greater Shepparton Business Centre Development Officer Lonnie O’Dwyer agrees that business planning basics is an essential skill for success.

“Imagine you are running your business and all is going smoothly, then suddenly you get ill or your business partner leaves. No one likes to think negatively however, being prepared for these events can alleviate the ‘what if’s’ in business allowing you to move forward with peace of mind,” Ms O’Dwyer said.

The seminar will help you to establish where your business is now and where you want it to be. Businesses will also learn how to devise strategies to achieve objectives, how to prioritise key issues, and how to prepare a one page business plan to overcome barriers.

“People who attend the workshop will receive a detailed workbook along with easy to use templates and tips on how to maintain your strategies when circumstances work against you,” Ms O’Dwyer said.

The seminar is on Wednesday 27 April starting at 6.00pm and finishing at 8.00pm
at the Greater Shepparton Business Centre located at 70 New Dookie Rd Shepparton.
