The Greater Shepparton Business Centre is hosting its first seminar for the year on Wednesday 20 February 2013, “Business Planning Basics.”

Greater Shepparton City Council's Small Business Development Officer Peter Barclay encourages anyone wanting to ensure that their business has a clear strategic direction and that market edge to book early as this workshop is in high demand.

"Running your own business can be exciting and most satisfying. To put your business on the right path towards financial success you need to plan for a successful outcome. This seminar will assist you do that and it is also a great opportunity to network with like minded people and to learn off one another, "Mr Barclay said.

"At the seminar participants will learn how to establish where their business is now and where they want it to be, devise strategies to achieve their objectives, determine the key issues of their business and learn how to prioritise them, prepare a one page business plan, overcome barriers and put their own plan into action".

Everyone wants their business to prosper, grow and to be successful. This seminar will stimulate your creativity, discipline, energy, and planning skills to make that come to fruition .

People completing the workshop will gain an understanding of the key success factors involved in managing their business for that successful profitable outcome.

"You will also receive an interactive workbook packed with useful tips, links and strategies to assist you to become more proficient with your strategic planning in your business," Mr Barclay said.

The workshop is being held on Wednesday 20 February 2013 from 6.00pm-8.00pm at the Greater Shepparton Business Centre, 70 New Dookie Road, Shepparton.
