The AFS tournament continues to grow in statue each year, with the ninth instalment of the event drawing 120 teams, with participants coming from New Zealand, Sydney and all over Victoria to officially christen the new Community Football Complex.

The event took place on Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd October and saw accommodation fully booked out two months from the event, while restaurants, cafes, retailers and supermarkets all got a slice of the estimated two million dollars tipped into the economy by the event.

Next year, the event organisers are looking to bring more teams from overseas to help celebrate the 10th anniversary of the tournament.
