Multicultural Arts Victoria invites culturally diverse and Aboriginal artists and cultural leaders in the Goulburn Valley to participate in a series of FREE cultural leadership workshops taking place on Tuesdays from May 29 – July 10.

The workshops will provide unique opportunities to share ideas and develop skills in cultural leadership, creative enterprise and cultural management. They will also create spaces for networking with established artists and leaders, local government, business, media and cultural sectors, and discussing common issues with peers and experts.

There are still three workshops available, but places are limited.

#4 PROJECT LOGIC: DEVELOPING ARTS AND COMMUNITY PROJECTS

Come and hear from some local artists and cultural leaders in Shepparton who have translated their passion, aspirations and ideas into successful projects. Where did they start, who did they ask for help, how did they resource it, how did they manage their projects and what did they learn? Then have a go at developing your own project idea and plan with guidance from experienced facilitator Jess Orr.

Presenters: Mimi Leung (Shepparton Animation Festival), Mellisa Silaga (Know Your Roots), Jess Orr (Inclusive Consulting)
Date: Tues 26 June 2018 Time: 5.30pm – 8.30pm
